At BKS we continue to design new guards all the time. Sometimes a one off guard becomes too much of a hit to leave it as a one off. We have several bow-tie guards that we do. This new one seems to be a favorite of most people. It has many options of how it can be finished and it gives a nice sturdy guard without looking bulky. We have it sized for all sizes of blades from daggers to two handers. It is not cast. Evey one is fabricated by hand in our shop.

Here is a look at the guard that will go into full production in the next few weeks.

Pictured here on a wide hand and a half blade with a dark fuller. As said before, we will offer it in all sizes.

This is added as one of our standard hilts and will not add any extra cost to our base prices for any of our standard blades.

As always, thanks for looking.
