One of my better "one day when I have time over" fun projects is to make a pair of 14th century joined hose out of blue-jeans denim. And wear them in public
There is nothing quite as sad as a one man conga-line...

Slash up your best blazer and allow your white shirt to puff out and show.

Hey, Platform shoes came back. After that, anything is possible.
Personally, I am waiting for society to colapse, and the start of a new Migration Period... I shall have silver panels on my Class 3 Kevlar helm, Silver and gold rail protectors for my HK416...
And of course, I'll be burrided in a great mound with my riches, resting in the figthing compartment of a CV90 Infantry Fighting Vehicle...
"this [fight] looks curious, almost like a game. See, they are looking around them before they fall, to find a dry spot to fall on, or they are falling on their shields. Can you see blood on their cloths and weapons? No. This must be trickery."
-Reidar Sendeman, from King Sverre's Saga, 1201
