There are not a lot of choices when it comes to sword stands so I started making a couple. Nothing fancy since I do not have the wood lathes and routers to make the fancy edges. Just a hand saw, screwdriver, and some sandpaper plus a coping saw. I shall post some pictures when I get a new electronic camera but swords come first if you know what I mean.

The second one I made was a plain board with two wooden pegs from which the sword hangs by its guard. It could be hung on the wall or as I am doing for now just leaned against a wall vertically. I like the primitive look more or less.

I would like to see stands others have made and their ideas. Please post pictures of them for all of us to see.
