Hi all,
first real post, long-time lurker, etc. etc.

Anyway, getting onto my question for everybody. So I recently got two of the Hanwei Bone-Handled Swept Hilt rapiers as wedding gifts, and was wondering if anyone could place it in a general time period or location historically? The CAS/Hanwei website suggests early 17th century, does myArmoury agree? I would like to start studying some of the rapier texts, and figure that would be a decent place to start, as well as starting to put together a suspension and kit for it, and so forth.

So far they have been quite fun, though I haven't done much with them but stab a few cardboard boxes....
