Well I have finally finished my Arming Jacket / Vest. Many hours upon hours and detailed work has been poured into this project. I will show one picture of the first one I made down at the bottom. I came up with the design by making a quite a few modifications from a tutorial I found online. The materials are non-historical. The entire piece has been hand sewn. Four layers of padding. As can be seen, this piece ties up on three sides. I am able to get the jacket snug enough around the waist so that the weight of the armour is distributed onto the hips and also the upper chest is loose enough to allow heavy breathing. I plan to sew voiders onto the piece, since I will be purchising a breast and back plate soon. I also made the padded leggings with maile voiders, they need a bit of touch up workThis is a project I am extremly proud of myself to have accomplished.
the ugly one...
