5 Day sword forging class with Howard Clark
5th to 9th of April 2010
.
I am very pleased to announce a 5 day sword forging class with the American Swordsmith Howard Clark at the Bushfire forge school of smithing .

Howard is an ABS Mastersmith and is highly regarded for his Japanese style sword blades (including the legendary L6 Banite blades he produces).
The class will cover the forging, grinding and heat treating of a wakizashi blade .Blades will be clay quenched to achieve Hamon (the differential hardening line so typical of Japanese swords) .This is a rare opportunity to learn from a real master.Howards understanding of the heat treating process is second to none .
The class will run from Monday the 5th through to friday the 9th of april 2010 and take place at Bushfire forge school of smithing in welling Kent (that's Kent in the UK east of london!).
The cost of this class is £550
