Hello:

I recently purchased a GDFB pollaxe head - the kind with a "meat tenderizer" face, straight axe head, and a top spike. I also ordered an oak haft for mounting it from a local hardware store. (no knots!)

My question is this: can anyone recommend a specific size and style of brass nail with which to fasten my pollaxe head to my oak haft .... and where can I find them. I simply want to have a pollaxe that has an authentic appearance.
