Hi,
Does anyone have a suggestion as to where I can find some tablet braid for a viking kit I am getting together?
I have tried one place in England but received no reply, so I really need some help.

My brothers do tablet weaving, I'll get him in touch with you.
What did you have in mind?
Ben Potter Bladesmith
It's not that I would trade my lot
For any other man's,
Nor that I will be ashamed
Of my work torn hands-
For I have chosen the path I tread
Knowing it would be steep,
And I will take the joys thereof
And the consequences reap.

I could also use a good source for tablet weaving also, if anyone would like to share their source...

I have a supplier in the UK, custom made braid (hand dyed and/or spun available if you want) done a lot of work for museums. Ping me off list by email nathandbeal at gmail dot com, and I'll put you in touch.

Beware of dragons, for you are crunchy and good with ketchup.

Check out:

For a cool digitalized way of trying out patterns for your tablet weave!
There is nothing quite as sad as a one man conga-line...

Thanks for the help, everybody. I have found a source in the US. Ben Potter's brother Timothy has kindly offered to make some for me. Will let you all know what its like when it arrives.

Sorry for hijacking the thread, but...
...are any of the sources mentioned above particularly good at shipping to Southeast Asia?
