Hello
On some russian discussion forum I found the picture of some helmet (pic. below) from UK
It's called "russian style helmet " but I'm not sure it's really russian style helmet.
This shape of the base is typical for 13th. cen. helmets like Nicolskoye or Izaslav but only with half-mask or "eagle nose" (the kind of nasal) ...and here there's no evidences for this ....only strange double C-shaped decorate plate ahead - I don't know this from any russian style helmet
Maybe someone knows something about this ?
