Hello all!

After my first book on the long sword I now finished my second one on sword and buckler. The main part of the book covers the I.33 but Talhoffer, Lignitzer and Kal are included. Find some information below.

Title: Schwertkampf 2 - der Kampf mit dem kurzen Schwert und Buckler
Author: some bloke called Herbert Schmidt
ISBN: 978-3-938711-29-3
Pages: 240

To be found either here or on the site of the publisher.

I am as usual very thankful for any criticism and comments

best wishes

Herbert

Congrats! If it comes to English, I may well have to pick up a copy. I don't focus on sword and buckler these days, but I am still a fan of it.

I try to do so, really. I am working hard on it regarding my first book on the long sword. But I will use your post as another reason to write him about this. I really hope that my stuff will one day be available in english.

best wishes

Herbert,

Congratulations on this new book! I look forward seeing it myself.
You will bring it along to Solingen in May, will you not?

Congratulations Herbert!

Obviously, I'm linguistically challenged here, but I certainly like the cover presentation! Wink Regardless, it's great to see more people making their findings available across the world.

Herbert, it looks great. I'm sorry I never heard back from the fellow who collects period bucklers, were you able to find enough examples for your needs?
