Hello, I am new at this so please be patient with me! I am needing input on a good instructional DVD for the beginner. I am most interested in learning to use a bastard sword, and in the European medieval fight style. Any advice would be appreciated.

Welcome to the forum, Jeanette!

I don't know of a DVD that I would recommend off the top of my head, but HERE is a little something to wet your whistle.

You may want to take a look at the reference library, and Call to Arms: The German Longsword by Bill Grandy.

Also: You may want to look up your local ARMA chapter, or post for a practice partner. Both methods have worked for me!

Happy Hunting!

There is one that I know of. If you want it in English, you can buy it here.

If you speak German, check out their website to buy (?) the original language version.

Part 2 is in production still.
