Does anyone have information on how you would put a fuller into a blade using the traditional method of blacksmithing.

You need a die ( i hope that is the correct word in English).
Traditionally you need a second person working with the die and its counterpart. A modern solution is to fix them both to a spring, so you don't need a helping hand.
