Well, I went and bought myself a new seax. Merry Christmas to me. It was made by Michael Pikula, a fellow forumite! He also happened to be visiting family near my home so I was able to meet him and see some other pieces he had. It made it very hard to decide on what to get because they were all so nice! The decision came down to 2 seaxes. I chose a broken back version with the following stats:

Overall length: 15.5 inches
Blade length: 10.5 inches
Blade width (at base): 1.25 inches

The grip is wrapped in light brown leather with very subtle lines in it. It has wire wrap towards the blade. This seax feels great. The grip is perfect for my hand. The finish on the blade can only be described as gorgeous! The whole thing is really nicely done. I couldn't be happier with this purchase! Here's some close shots...
