I'm working with a custom smith to produce a custom with a blade similar to that of the Svante. One thing that we are looking at is the distil taper of the blade's central rib.
If anyone who has one, or has access to one could give me some info on the centre rib thickness on the bottom 2/3 of the blade it would be appreciated. It looks as though it is a linear reduction from 10mm to maybe 4 to 5 mm max about 50mm from the tip.
If someone could give me a better idea of the taper, possibly at 3-4 points along the blade it would be appreciated.
