I am new to your forum and looking for some help. I am searching for close up photos of 16th century Maximilian fluted armor. Prior to making this request, I searched the myArmoury.com photo database , did on-line search of every museum that I could locate on the internet, checked the Dallas Public Library collection on this subject, ordered and reviewed 15 books on armor, all without success. There are considerable photos of full suits of armor, but very few showing any close up detail and most of the photos only show a frontal view.
Any guideance to find and obtain close up photos is appreciated.

The RA has lots of Maximilian armour listed in their online database, but no photos yet except for the famous "horned helmet" shown above. This appears to be a new initiative, so I would expect to see photos, including detailed views, coming up soon.-Sean
