Exhibition "Platno življenja dinastije Celjskih" (Canvas of life of the Dynasty of Celje).





My reenactment group Druščina Zlate ostroge (Fellowship of the Golden spur) was asked to prepare a small exhibition of medieval reproductions in Pelikan tower in castle Celje, Slovenia. Exhibition focuses on last three decades of the dukes of Celje (1420 - 1450). Small displays cover arms and armour on the lowest floor, scribe's office and finally living quarters of the castellan. Some reproductions were made by us (most of the clothing, pavise, crossbow, some furniture...), some were made locally, others imported. With more time and more money it could of course be much richer, but we are quite satisfied with the result!
