I saw something about thicker bar stock that Gus is using for his swords in one of our posts. what does he mean by that? are these new swords thicker, stronger then his old ones?

Hi Sammy
Stronger was not originally the intent. It was exploring and making certain blade types closer to historical norms. Type XV and XVa's generally are thicker, and stiffer than the cutting varieties. Though some of the more cut oriented types start thick, and distal taper a lot. Also, many of your saber type blades start thick and distal taper a lot.swords are fun
