Hi all!
Is there anyone here who have attemted to make any leg armour in a late 15c style. I´m going to give it a try and this is the beginning of the information collecting. Any links to sites or suggestions on books would be vey welcome.
Thanx in advance!

Hi Martin!
Have you tried contacting Albert @ viaarmorari? I believe he should be at hand, doesn't he live nearby? He is a very competent armourer and I'm sure he'd be happy to share his practivcal skills and his resources.
Cheers
Mick

Hmmm... I just remember making a transfer to him for a raised skullcap and I think it said Bjasta in his address as well. Maybe it was a different Bjasta, or maybe he lived there when his account was created... Doesn't matter.
Albert is a very friendly and helpful guy. Another Scandinavian is Per Lillelund Jensen, a friend of Albert's. Per specialises in Italian armour and his creations are quite outstanding. He lives even farther than Albert, as, being Danish, Per if from Copenhagen.
Both guys are a mine of information and their practical skill is difficult to match on a world level.
Cheers
Mick
