The blades for the 1557 part of the "Sale" are now semi-finish ground. At the point that scabbards are made, and blades are stored in the shop for a week or two. At least one needs a scabbard, and today I need to check on the other three.

At this point, I need to make guards for three of these, and three handles. Actually, since the other two single hand models will be pretty much ground in the next two weeks, I need to grind 12 handles.........

Well those certainly look good.

Where are you with the 1506 and 1404's?

Take care!

Mike

Rest assured...I did indeed use the SEARCH function!

Hi Michael

I have 2104s and 1404s thru heat treat. My thinking is to grind the 2104s this week, and get the guards made {working on them}, pommels, and handles. I think at least two need scabbards.

I have only 3 of the five 1404s. One died by "operator error" {That dirty dawg Gus screwed up}, the other had a crack in the tip from the quench. So I need makeup material for these. Guards, pommels and handles for these, and I need to check on scabbards {some want, some don't}. I also need to go down the list as folks ordered.......never know, someone might volunteer to take something I have in exchange, which might help fill these out.......

I have material for the 1506s......... as long as I can keep "operator error" from being a factor...........
