Mark your calendars! The second annual Medieval Days Event is being held at the lovely Colonial Plantation in Ridley Creek State Park (Delaware County, PA) on October 18th and 19th. We will have camps from Viking to Wars of The Roses including La Belle's.
This will also be the first event for The Men Of Tabor for you Hussite fans.

This sounds pretty cool. I work in Media and never was aware of this event. About how many reinactors will be there? Anyone here going?
Do they have demo's or merchants? Do you encourage visitors to come in garb?
What exactly goes on at this type of event? Any info will be appreciated.
Thanks.

Well just wanted to say that I took my 14 year old and 9 year old daughers out to this event and it was very enjoyable. The reinactors were very friendly and had nice encampments set up with a good selection of period camp items and, of course, weapons and armour on display. I especially enjoyed getting to handle the Del Tin Wakefield Falchions.
Thanks to all the reinactors for their time an courtesy, especially Mark Hanna and the Hussites.
