Right Christopher,scots-english was spoken in Lothian, and to a lesser extent in parts of Cumberland,Northumberland and Yorkshire, as these as these four areas once made up the Anglo-Saxon Kingdom of Northumberland ( 'north of the humber river ) previously the kingdoms of Berenecia and Deiera. The schiavona is actually dalmation, it was used by the stradiot mercanaries used extensively by Venice.
