I have finally decided to go for the 1580 parrying dagger from Arms and Armor, which I've been wanting for a while now. So I go onto the site to check the price, with the intent of ordering one, and lo and behold, the website has just been updated... to say that the 1580 dagger is now the December item of the month! Fantastic!

I had A&A make me one of these back in 1998, with the matching fancy bronze-mounted scabbard. This was the first "comissioned" weapon I ever purchased, and I've been very happy with it (it goes with me to every Renaissance Fair I attend when in upper class garb). You'll not be disappointed, Bill! Oh, yeah, I also bought the "matching" sword from Museum Replicas back when it was available. I believe it is reviewed on myArmoury.
