Hi all, I am Pretty new to the "REAL SWORD" world, And have a lot to learn so I am pretty excited about this new love of mine. Okay that summarized that as quick as possible. I bought a musashi wind katana, Got my GEN 2 12th century norman 2 days ago and yesterday I got lucky and put my money down on an angus trim 1566 with tinker scabbard, and I am very excited about it.
To get to the meat of this post I would love to know if anyone else already has this at1566 sword and their impressions on it or any links to reviews If any exist would be great. This sword being five inches longer and one pound lighter than my GEN 2 is what excited me the most, looks like a great cutter also. I got this sword in the" pay off the damn machine sale" lol, and I paid an extra sixty dollars for the tinker scabbard, and i would really like to know what these scabbards look like If anyone has any idea or pics It would be appreciated. , I'm not expecting it to be much better than my gen 2 12th century scabbard for 60 bucks though just need something to hold my sword so no worries .
Who elso got a sword through the deal he offered ? I picked A longsword because I'm 6''4 , and it seems to befit the medieval battles I encounter from day to day .
the sword pic should show up If I did It right, First post on any sword forum (been members on SFI,SBG for a few months though) This seems like a great community with VERY smart people so I had to hold off posting till I had something of worth haha) Hello all, Matt B.
