I know the "Maximilian" style of armour is named after Emperor Maximilian I, but are there any surviving Maximilian style harnesses attributed to him? I know of two gothic harnesses of his as well as another harness with an armet, but I haven't run across any "Maximilian" armour attributed to him.
I think the problem is that this sparticular style was developed after his death in 1519 ( at least that's what I've read so far).
There is one armour in vienna attributed to him, but this one looks like transitional armour - very gothic, but you can already see the more rounded forms of later armours.
