Hi everyone,
this is my first post and I hope this is the forum for it. I'm searching , though it seems in vane, for information on this particular jousting helmet. I'd love to try and make one myself, but I'd like to get technical information on the dimensions of the helm, or better yet, if available, templates or patterns. I've always wanted to create a replica of this helm as it's the helmet for my family crest. Is there anyone out there that can help me?

Respectfully,
William

This is the helmet I mean

There are other makers for sure, but I can't remember them just now.

Thank you for this link,
Very, very, nice, so is 2mm a decent thickness for this? I am still interested to make my own if possible as I like making things, so to find measurements or patterns would be a godsend...

Well, 2mm is the mandatory thikness for every helm (though they were made with different thickness area, like 4mm in the frontal skull section).
For measurements you can ask for the museum that conserve it or send an e-mail to the various manifacturers.

Hi again,
The last link didn't work for me to show pics of the Frog-mouth helm, broken images....so is there any pattern or template available for this helm out of curiosity.

Sincerely,
William
