Interesting, Jason.

I hope this will add a new spin on things seeing as there is a larger influx of people.

For those interested, 3 of those designs are made by yours truly :)

Good luck voting, and have fun!

EDIT: It may be better to have an entirely different poll here so people don't have to travel to another website to vote.

Pretty cool designs!

I like the hilt of the Milan and the blade of the Torino. The Milan is a beautiful design, I just prefer less profile taper. Good luck to all who made the final seven and I hope we see the finished products here!

I only wish that more than 2 could have their blades made. Some of the finalists (your Venetian Merc. included of course) are plain amazing. Jason has spoken about producing other designs that we have sent in, apart from the contest, however.

Both of you guys put in great designs.

I have to say that the Torino really struck my fancy. I really like the overall design and it looks like a pretty agile little blade to me.

As soon as my registration is approved, I will go cast my vote. :-)

Thanks shawn, your vote will be greatly valued!

Michal, out of curiosity did you submit anymore designs in addition to your venitian? Personally, I made 9 different swords: (in order): A single hand crecant pommel and very small XX blade, (the milan), (the torino), A large two handed with an s-shaped guard, A cocked hat type XI single hander, a brazil nut type X single hander, a hand and a half with wheel pommel (my favorite design), a light messer, and the Orleans.

Jason said, albeit in the SBG forum, that you can submit as many designs as you want. Although 9 may have been...excessive, I don't have any regrets on sending in so many except for one: I'm competing against 3 of my own designs while everyone else just has 1 in the finals. So if someone likes the milan and someone else likes the torino, thats only 1 vote for each. If I had one sword, then I'd have 2 votes for that.

What is cool about having multiple designs is that I could win both places.

So it has its goods and bads.

I posed the question to Jason, let's see what he has to say. I;d like to know the answer as well incase I have to start saving up. Shipping charges are lot for me as I'm not out of high school and I imagine they are hell for someone in poland to pay.

Seems to be quite a bit of uproar about stacking votes...

There may be a redo...?

Stacking votes? You mean that someone is making multiple accounts? Well some of my friends gave a vote when they heard about competition but as far as I know none of them was cheating
