That is absolutely gorgeous; one of the most graceful hilt designs I've ever seen. :blush:

I can't get over that pommel! The pommel and cross complement each other perfectly with the blade. The grip looks just the right length. Oh, how I could go on! But I can't seem to find the words! *fainting* The Talhoffer is definitely a sight for sore eyes! Worthy of the Lourve!

I particularly like the Talhoffer's guard, and I wish there was an example of this type of guard among the single handed swords.

Is it just me, or is the type XVa Peter Johnsson's favourite type of long sword? ;)

I didn't like the concept drawing of this one at all, but I do like the completed sword a lot. Some very fine lines on this one. Normaly I'm not that fond of scent stopper pommels but this one looks real nice.

Keep up the good work! 6 fine swords in 14 days is impressive from any point of view.

Just got off the phone with Mike. Switched to a Talhoffer w/ oxblood grip! Mike says it's an awesome sword that's lightning quick. Can't wait! It should arrive in about a month. :D
