Hello!
Just wanted to show you new custom-made Anglo-Saxon sword - double-edged/ Petersen type L.
Length : 90cm, weight : 1,15kg, length of grip: 8cm,PoB 18cm, width of blade (at the crossguard): 5 cm. Hand-forged, hardened upto 53 HRc.

To Scott: Sure, do it. It will be stunning with your laminate blade!

I made various groove hammers first, with them forged the pommel.

It seems you pierced the pommel when it was already shaped, how could you do it without deforming it?

Did you drill some holes before as a guide?

I pierced this pommel with pointed hammer. It gets deformed and spread to sides during piercing, it has to be "repaired" with hammer.
