Is there anywhere that I can buy a copy of the Maciejowski Bible, similar to Christian Tobler's In Service of the Duke? I'm not interested in the translation, just the pictures, if that helps....

I discovered in my library a very nice facsimile of the Bible, although, according to the Library of Congress, it is called
Title: Die Kreuzritterbibel = The Morgan Crusader Bible = La Bible des croisades.
Parallel title: Morgan Crusader Bible
Parallel title: Bible des croisades.
A copy of this facsimile, which is of amazing quality, may be on the market. I have no idea of it's value. But, I do work with illuminated manuscripts, and I can attest this is a nice facsimile. If you want to see if your local libraries have a copy, here is the Library of Congress info to help you search.

Thanks for the heads-up, but I ended up buying the copy that Chad suggested, and it's in excellent condition. I'm so glad to have it!

I'm glad you found a copy. I find the images more powerful when seen as a book. I have really enjoyed looking at it.

Maybe this has been posted elsewhere (but I didn't find it in a search). There are 86 pages of the Maciejowski/Morgan Bible online here, in *very* high resolution. I highly recommend finding the full screen button (at the bottom of the viewer).

This is brilliant! This is an amazing resource for people all over. The detail in the close-up is amazing. Definitely something that I'll be referring to often.
Thank you for posting!
