Hi Thomas,
I got some piccies of that Claymore but Unfortunatly they arent any good. The Lighting is pretty bad and There was to many prople around to spend Time getting good pics. LOL the curators dont like my photo expiditions. So Unfortunatly the photos dont show you much more detail then you already have in the pencil sketches.

Hi Brian
It's dated to the sixteenth century ..... the double pommel is unique , but there are claymores depicted on tomb slabs (Kiels, Kilmoruy, and Kilmichael) that have some similar features !

I just noticed the Scottish single-hander in the background, not unlike the one Albion has planned.

The exhibit has 3 or four of these downturned lobed qullion swords on display.
