Besides the flail, where there any other types of chain weapons used in Europe, such as those that were used in central and eastern Asia? For example the Japanese kusari-gama or sickle and chain weapon.

You may already be aware of this, and it may not be the time period you're looking for, but bike chains were used as impromtu weapons in gang fights in the modern era. Does this count?

Are you referring only to offensive weapons? If not, both the Hussites and Ottoman Turks were known for using chain-link barriers to protect their war wagons and (in the ottoman case) their artillery.
