I've always been wanting to find a way to seal my fittings so I don't have to wipe them down with oil every time I practice with them. Lower maintenance requirement meant more practice time and motives as well, due to the convenience.
I've tested several products out there including Dry Coat, which does not last through bare hand handling; UV glue seen on tv, which once dried, easily rubbed off by my hands. Eventually I settled with circuit lacquer aerosol spray.
