The Rocky Mountain Historical Combat Guild Presents
Medieval Italian Unarmoured Longsword From Fiore Dei Liberi's Fior di Battaglia
Bob Charron, Instructor
The Fior di Battaglia (or Flos Duellatorum) was written in the early 1400's by Fiore dei Liberi, an Italian Master of Arms. It details his full fighting method in illustrated and logically organized text, including sword, spear, grappling, dagger, armoured & mounted combat.

The seminar will focus on the unarmoured longsword techniques of Fiore, examining them as principles of combat, as well as specific techniques within Fiore's corpus. It will be taught by Bob Charron, one of the pre-eminent US researchers of Fiore's work.
