Does anyone have any experience with this helmet by Deepeeka?

I study WMA and I'm thinking of getting the helm to fight live steel with. So I don't care to much how historical it is and I will probably add some perforated steel to it to make it safer.

I have looked at that helmet a few times one line. But its a bit more than I can spend with out a good review or seeing it person.

But does look good.

It’s a very cheap version of a burgonet. I don’t think it can be a good useful piece.

I too have looked at this helmet; because it is 16 ga steel it is not sturdy enough for my wma group but with a feder it would serve fine. Check with whatever hierarchy your group has, because be too light to comply to safety codes. GDFB makes several 14ga helmets good for wma, but not a burgonet. If you are hard set on the style eastern europe may be your best bet to get a fitted, thick burgonet with all the SCAism safety add ons you want.
