Hi,
Looks like a German Prussian Cavalry Saber 1873 model- war dated to 1915. One is for sale on e-bay right now and has a more precise description of some markings and measurements.
Cheers,
Terry

No problem Karl,
Glad to help. I thought your sword posting looked familiar so I just checked out swords I recently had viewed on e-bay, and there it was!
Cheers,
Terry
