Well Folks,

After much deliberation I decided to show-off with my new ATrim Lady Carmen. Much has been written about this sword on this forum (which much influenced my decision between AT 1415 and AT 1562) so I will not waste bandwith. Suffice it to say that the sword feels like a feather in my arm(s). I can wielded with one hand with almost no effort . The fairly low weight (~2.6lb) certainly helps in that department, but it is not only the low weight that makes it very agile and quick.
After a quick bonding through a la patrick Kelly polishing, the sword did not want to let go of me (or was it vise versa?) I cannot wait to do some practice cutting with it.
Here are some pictures of this beauty:

Gus, Josh THANK YOU guys

Alexi

Another pic of the XIIa. The spots on the blade are from uneven distribution of oil after getting it in and out of the scabbard few times. Should have paid attention before taking the picture:) If I could only figure out how to insert the image in the post (I assume the "img" function has something to do with that)

Alexi

Beautiful sword... I knew I wanted this one for a reason ;)

Sadly, that will have to wait. I've gotten all the swords I can get for a while. The IRS is taking an unexpected chunk out of me, and I need to replenish my savings. But after that... hah hah! Carmen here I come!
