Very Nice! I have never seen the first one before. Some nice collections of Hourglass gauntlets in one place. I will put my thinking helmet on to see if I can remember some good online historic armour.

Chad
I've been through the myArmoury albums, review and collection pages thoroughly on multiple occasions.
They are a great wealth of information and I am very thankful they exist.
I constantly go back to them discovering new things all the time.
Thanks
Danny

Sean
Thanks for the link, however I already know about that one, been there numerous times.
Here's a pretty good link provided you know the names of weapons and armour in german:
http://www.dhm.de/datenbank/
Pics are low-res and in black and white and sometimes partially covered by a logo.
You have to type in the name of a weapon in Objektart:
Some examples to type:
schlagwaffen
Bauernwehr
Spieß
Dolch
Schwert
