That was a lot of fun yesterday! It was sure nice to meet some new faces and see familiar ones also. Thanks Joe, for your hospitality and for hosting a splendid RT party! Thanks to Don once again for bringing some of your antiques and letting us handle them. And thanks to the ARMA guys for showing me those disarming techniques with my wasters (and in the process throwing me to the ground! ). -Ted

I had a good time as well. It was nice to see the veterans of past Ohio/Midwest gatherings there and I also enjoyed meeting a few new people. I don't know that I've ever seen that many weapons assembled in one living room. I'm hoping some of the folks that took pictures will post them.
Thanks for hosting, Joe! Thanks to Albion for sending a box-o-toys also and thanks to everyone who brought stuff to share.

Resizing is not keeping the image quality as nice as I would prefer. I'm going to post originals at a size that will fit, and then I'll go back and play to get some better detail here and there.

It really was a lot of fun! It was great to see everyone again, or meeting you for the first time, as the case may be.
thanks to Joe for hosting, and thanks to him also for cooking!
And definitely thanks to Don for bringing some from his collection. A rare treat.
I love these opportunities to try new Albion blades to see which ones I like and which ones I like better! (I never gave the Mercenary a 2nd look until I got to try it out this weekend. a pleasant surprise).
I can't wait until I can afford another blade!

A big thank you to everyone who came to the roundtable. It was a great time. These events are such a great way to meet folks and commiserate on like-minded hobbies. It has really done wonders in building my passion and interest.
And a huge thanks to Joe who put up with us all and whose wife allowed a bunch of sword-wielding maniacs in her living room.

I'm just glad people could come.
Hopefully, between the lot of us, we can pull at least one of these things together every year in Ohio.

Aha! Finally made it over to the site and joined in so i could say my thank yous as well. Really appreciated Joe's hospitality and everyone's willingness to share collected treasures with a complete unknown like myself. Glad we only had my little finger nick (mostly healed now) to blood me into the comraderie. Truly would like to get more of you close ones to practice with us (in ARMA at OSU) regularly--maybe we could even show that way once a month or so....
I posted pix on our yahoo group (arma_clb), but here is the group photo
