My brother-in-law was up the other weekend and brought the French naval cutlass that was given to him by his father-in-law. I searched the forums and albums and couldn't find any pictures of one of these, so I thought you might enjoy a few pictures. I apologize for the lighting; the weather wasn't conducive to good natural light. I also had to rush these a bit as well. When we get down to DC to visit, I'll try to get some better pics.

That looks very similar, but different, from the US naval cutlass.

Very cool. Being a pirate at heart, I have always had a soft spot for cutlasses. :)
