One of my latest additions is a pair of hourglass gauntlets from Valentine Armouries. They are 18ga without the brass trim. They (if you pardon the pun) fit like a glove. The quality for the price was very high and I am very happy with them. The polish was better than I expected though there were a couple of the finger scales that were not as finished as the rest. The construction was solid and feels as though they will hold up well.
Dealing with Valentine Armouries was a good experience. They were helpful and prompt with replys to my questions and their product arrived when they said it would. I plan on using them again and would recommend them.

These look pretty nice, Gary - sweet addition!
Finding good, durable, functional, comfortable fingered gauntlets has been very difficult for me - I appreciate seeing your thoughts.
How do they fit around a sword grip? Any wrist binding? Any conflicts with the cuffs going 2-handed?

I have not used them for anything but dry handling but so far they are great. They fit great in the sword grip and the interior glove is of high quality leather, so no issues with the grip. I will try to take a picture when I get home tonight. No wrist binding and I have not had any issues with the cuffs getting in the way.
