Since there's one for Albion and A&A, let's further cover the landscape with a poll for your favorite ATrim sword.
For me it is the no longer available DD1611, a light bastard with a simple compound hilt. It is the sweetest handling sword that you could imagine. It even meets that seldom fulfilled definition of a bastard sword - as easy to use with one hand as with two.
For something definitely one-handed, I'll go with the MS2104, a beautiful little sword with a gladius hispaniensis blade and a medieval hilt. It's Fantasy, I know, but I still love it.

So far , its hands down my 1518HP.
This was a modified version from the standard AT1518 in that Gus did some special tang work on it, and the pommel is lighter as well to move the COB out a bit, make it a lil more aggressive cutter, yet it only weights about 2 LBs....

No fair, Roger! There are too many cool Atrims... :eek: :lol: My favorites: 1411, 1431, 1433, 1501, 1564, and 1593. Were I forced to narrow it down to three (I couldn't possibly go any lower :lol: ), they'd be: 1433, 1501, and 1564. :)
Most are already familiar with the 1433, so here's the 1564 (top) and 1501:

Boy, this is a tough one...
My favorite single-hander would have to be the AT-1432. Something about an XVIII with a long, awl-shaped point just tugs at my heart strings...
My favorite war sword would be the MS-1313, hands-down.
Longswords... now this is where it gets tricky...
The DN-1506, and its previous incarnation, have been on the top of my list for quite a while (I haven't bought a sword in over 3 years)...
The AT-1517 I also find very attractive. Again, the whole long-tipped XVIII thing...
Lately, I've found myself drawn toward the AT-1547. I think the blacked-out, slightly-curved, spikey cross really adds to its overall spikey, Gothic appearance...
And last, but certainly not least, is the AT-1593, with the CF upgrade. The grip is carved beautifully, its lines and proportions are elegant, yet the blade has enough "meat" to it to lend a sense of boldness, and strength.
As for Gus' great swords, well, I like all three!

Ive tried a good selection of AT blades, but I keep going back to my AT1415 type XIIa. Its currently undergoing a refit. I have been pouring over Oakeshott's Archelogy of Weapons and Im rewraping the grip, filled the cross for a more period look, adding a rain guard, and etching the pommel. Pics when Im done! Then the scabbard is going to get a refit. I'll be busy for while! ;)

Hmmm. Gus has so many great handling swords, however I keep on coming back to the AT1433. Of course he also has a DN version of the AT1316 double fullered Type XII which unfortunately seems to have dropped off the face of the earth as none of this vendors seem to carry it. Man that was a great sword.

Well, actually, its not a greatsword, its an arming sword. And its in the queue for the "direct" site........

HA! OK. I meant really nice sword not "greatsword". It's good to know that the DN1316 is still available.
Another great looking and handling sword is the AT1592 with the side rings. Sweet.

I have been with Gus since some of his first models came out and the old Type XIIa is still a marvelous cutter. However, I must say that I am severely attracted to the 13435. It is a superb cutter but has enough of a point to work through armor. I would love to have this sword with the CF Type9 guard. What a pretty package. :eek:

I wouldn't call it a "Bayerisches clone", since there are numerous examples of Germanic swords in this format. Albrecht Durer's (A Knight, Death, and the Devil) woodcuts depict many such swords.

My favorite is my own At1523. A model now out of production I think. It is sweet in the hand and very versatile with its hand and a half grip.

since both of these are off the market yall can just hate me weaselly little guts :p
The first version of the Swede, an XVIIIb that is a beaut at cutting and good with the thrust and my personal favorite sword and right behind that one would be my Terico, XVIII that was carried by Albion some time ago. good little cutter and a demon with the thrust
