What does it mean when somebody makes a post that just says, bump? I see this every once in a while, but I have no idea what it means. :mad: :)

It means they are bumping the thread back up to the top of the forum list. This happens most often in the Classifieds section, where sellers keep their offerings from scrolling down to oblivion.

Just for the record, this wasn't a stupid question. :confused:
It was simply something you didn't know... I didn't know once either. The answer happened to come to me at a moment of not-so-coherent thought. It's cool... :p

Thanks, Aaron. I probably shouldn't have given my post such a title. I certainly don't want to discourage anyone from asking questions, however simple or obvious they may seem. :)
What is it about us that makes us feel that we need to ask questions in such a deprecatory manner? How often do you see or hear a question prefaced by:
I don't want to seem like an idiot, but......
This might sound stupid, but.....
etc.
Anyway, point taken. Don't be afraid to ask questions!
