Hi all,
I thought this might be of interest to this forum.
In September of this year Chris Dobson’s new book will come out. It is about the ‘myth of the medieval knight in shining armour’. Or as he puts it: “Imagine that the very foundations of what we believe about the appearance of Medieval and Renaissance armour and weapons turned out to be wrong. What if, in some periods, ‘white’ armour was rarely - if ever - used at all?”
I have been asked to write the foreword.

Is that Chris Dobson's new site? He took down the self-published books from his old site without explanation, and then it was taken over by spammers.
I have a 40-page working paper which he might be interested in.
