I recently stumbled upon Mateusz on facebook and immediately placed an order. I'll have first hand feedback on his work soon. Looks impressive. For some reason the file work on this swords rivet head makes me giddy. Detals, details.

Wow man, really fantastic work. It's been quite some time since I've gotten excited over a sword. You have some other gems on your Facebook page as well.

This guy looks very interesting. I look forward to reading what you have to say about it.

Detail work is uniquely impressive.

I particularly like the chape used on the belt end.

An enigma-- what is it about an XVIIIC with a fishtail pommel and straight cross with ecusson (spelling?) that just looks so right?
It's like a natural skin hot dog with mustard and "greek sauce" (a type of bean-less chili, for you non-Pennsylvanians)-- it's a combination that just works so well!
See Also: Exibit B-- the Principe model by Albion.

I know what you mean... I have been admiring the Principe - its broad blade, hilt, proportions for a while... After Patrick's glowing review of his Solowski sword, I saw the XVIIIc and immediately had to have it... It is also seems not to be just another pretty face.. --- 50 HS at 54 HRC should provide fantastic performance for this blade - see pic... It's in the mail, so, I should have the sword in my hand next week.. Stay tuned.

I also really like this cross guard fitting pic of the sword from the Solowski site:
