I've been trying to find a photo/photos and other sources on these type of gauntlets.
I've tried to search the forum and not found anything, however I'm not sure I've got the search function under control and I've tried dr google with no results.
I'm interested in making a pair / having a pair made so any information would be greatly appreciated.
I'm pretty new to the reactment seen so I don't have all the insider knowledge on great hidden websites that you'd never find In a search.

It's a common and often required piece of protection in some groups/areas of reenactment or medieval combat. Far as I've gathered, it is more often than not a sort of small buckler that you strap to your hand rather than an intergrated part of the gauntlet.

Merctailer makes them, look under "finger gauntlets".
I have a pair, they're padded and backed in leather with buckled straps that go over your hand. I like mine a lot.

Many people call them "finger bucklers" rather than finger gauntlets.

Hi Matthew, most of the decent UK armourers will have at some point made these, I see them around a lot so I'd talk to Dave Hewitt, Mark Vickers, Matt Bayley, Ash etc etc
