I made a 3d model of a Norman spearman based on photos of Patrick Kelly's very nice Norman kit. I still need to iron out some kinks (like the hands which have very mutated texture) - when I'm done I will make a battle animation :)

I wasn't sure about the shape of mail-clad torso from side, I hope I got it down reasonably well.

wow that looks cool. a few pointers if i may. the mail shirt should actually be more tapered than that if not even long sleeved. most modern mail hangs like the way you have pictured because they are made like tubes and not contoured to the arm. hehe love the love handles along the belly. ;)

Kawaii!!

(The model, not the guy, he actually looks kind of mean ;) )

Is it for a game or for producing a Ken dressup doll? If a doll, I want it. Aww... if a game I want that too! Looks simply amazing.

I made a testing video of 2 (cloned :) warriors spearing each other.

So far without any hits, because I didn't make the necessary animations yet.

Very nice, but I would grip the spear a little bit shorter this way it is quite unwieldly. Not impossible at all, but shorter grip would work better.

I like it!! Is that an accepted way of holding and using a spear?

I would love to see a similar animation of a Greek Hoplite.
