I have been able to examine two likely early original medieval daggers of some interest, previously unpublished.
I would like to have some help in dating them.
I examined them with all due permissions but i cannot still release the pics for public view.
I would ask anybody wishing to help me to pm me so that i could give him stats and pics, to be kept for private view only.
One of the two pieces has some inlaid cross potens in latten, it almost look like a miniature sword.
The pommel and cross look quite early.
The other has a very nice cross, AFAIK never seen so far.
