Hello everybody!

Recently I thought about bying a new sword. Two beautiful swords of Lutel catched my eye: Number 15010 and 15019.

But I am a little bit unsure about their handling. Perhaps somebody here has experiences with these swords.
I would be glad about an answer!

Hey there, I have held a bunch of lutels in the last two years, and they all have been quite nice. Some may put them on the heavy side, but I personally liked each one. I have not held ones like you posted though, mostly single handers and 2H german swords.

Hi,
I've got the 15024, the first one, which they did for me as a custom job. In a nutshell, its a dream to handle, light and responsive, fit is good and tight while the finish maybe could have been better in parts. But overall, no complaints and a really nice training blunt.

I've handled the 15010 and it's pommel is hard to handle and grip. I'd go with the 15019 instead if I was buying. I owned a 15003 and loved it (probably will get it again in the future).

I had the 15010 and loved it. I found no problems with the pommel at all. In fact, I found that it actually added to a secure grip. The handling characteristics of mine were fantastic. I handled another version and it was a bit different but still quite nice. I don't care for the design of the 15019, personally, but would expect the handling to be very similar to the 15010.

Funny enough, I am waiting on a 15010 right now. As asked a question a couple weeks back about custom taxes on Lutel stuff. ETA is about a month on it. I decided on mine after seeing Nathan's (on the wallpaper). :D

I miss mine as well. Hard to remember what I bought to replace it when I sold it...

Thanks to everybody for sharing experiences!
Now I am more certain about Lutel swords and I am going to buy 15010 this month.

I will post my "first contact" with the weapon.

Have a good day

Hello Everybody!

So a friend of mine wants to buy the 10519. But he said he wants to be sure about the CoB and handling of the sword before he gets it.
Perhaps you can post some details!

Thanks!
