All you folks in Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi and, of course, Alabama, should check out this exhibit at the Museum of Mobile:

Choose Your Weapon
Open until November 30, 2005
The Museum of Mobile has long been known for its spectacular collection of antique and unusual weapons. Representing the art and science of weaponry from around the world, this one of a kind exhibit features weapons of every size and description including swords, daggers, dirks, pole arms, sword canes, muff daggers, presentation pieces, and pocket knives. And, along with edge weapons there are firearms such as pistols, revolvers, muskets, rifles, blunderbusses, cannon, an early air rifle such as carried by the Corps of Discovery, dueling pistols, derringers, along with assorted accoutrements, ordinance and more.
Visitors will appreciate the detailed intricate engraving and artistry that decorate many of these pieces and marvel at the technology and fine craftsmanship that went into these weapons from the best makers of Europe and America.
Donít miss this limited showing of our permanent collection of weapons that is sure to inspire everyone to Choose Your Weapon! at The Museum of Mobile, 111 South Royal Street in historic downtown. For additional information about this or other upcoming exhibits call 251-208-7569 or visit www.museumofmobile.com
