Hello all,

Can anyone recommend (english-language) sources which go into detail on the history and design of Japan's Murata Rifles? Compared to the body of literature I've been able to find on Arisaka rifles, I'm having a bit of trouble finding detailed works on the Murata series.

Thanks.

The most specific source I can think of would be Banzai Publication's book on Murata rifles.

Military Rifles of Japan by Honeycutt also has a little bit of information.
